Is Gary a real hypnotist?
No. Gary D’Ambrosio is a fictional character played for laughs. Any resemblance to an actual hypnotist is a coincidence, and Gary’s lawyer would like it to stay that way.
Was anyone actually hurt?
No. Everything in Hypnotized is scripted fiction, including the medical scare in The Incident. No real people were hypnotized, harmed, or embarrassed. Only Gary’s reputation took a hit.
